The Process of Getting Visa to the Republic of Belarus

     To enter the Republic of Belarus, you need a valid original passport with the Belarusian visa.

     You may get the visa at the Belarusian Embassy or Consulate in your country or, if there is none, on the arrival at the consular office of the national airport “Minsk-2”. The countries which have the Belarusian Embassy or Consulate are: Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brasilia, Canada, Czech Republic, China, Estonia, Egypt, France, Hungary, Germany, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Libya, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Republic of South Africa, Slovak Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, Switzerland, Sweden, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, Vietnam.   

     To get the visa, you need to submit a valid passport, a photo, an application, a written request by a Belarusian tourist company, or a written request by a rest house or rehabilitation centre, or a written invitation by a national of Belarus and supporting documents that confirm her/his ownership of an agro tourist homestead in Belarus, and to pay a visa fee.

     All the foreigners visiting Belarus must register within a period of 3 working days. Foreign tourists that stay at a hotel are registered automatically and the cost of registration is included in the cost of the hotel services.

                                 Visa regulations at the National Airport «Minsk-2»:

     Belarusian visas at the International Airport “Minsk-2” are issued to the citizens of the countries with no Belarusian consular offices.

     To get the visa, you should have the following documents:

•        an original letter of invitation (not a copy) from travel agency. The hosting tourist company has to be registered as a tourist operator and have an appropriate license.
•       a tourist voucher from a Belarusian travel agency.

     A tourist should also fill in a visa application form and have a passport-size color photograph with him.

     Visa is issued for a term that is indicated in the invitation, but it should not be more than 30 days.
